After much agonizing, I decided to buy an FJ Cruiser. However, that means that my '99 4Runner, "LURCH", will need a new home.

I really didn't want to just trade him in on the FJ -- no dealer would appreciate the mods that have been done, all with the help of the info found here on YotaTech.

Therefore, I intend to find a fellow YotaTech-er who will provide the loving care that LURCH deserves in the fall years of his life, and will do so at a very reasonable cost. This is gonna be somebody's lucky day.

I'll be taking pix this weekend and preparing a write-up for the Classifieds. LURCH deserves better than being carted away on some auto trailer from an auction ...

 

Does LURCH wanna come to California and live with me?

He said that would be OK, but you'll have to take a few days to drive him there. He doesn't want to miss the scenery (seems I tend to drive a little faster than he likes -- he can't gawk.)

 

Does LURCH have a 3.4? Also, does he have a 5speed? 4X4?

Yes, supercharged, lifted, auto, URD performance upgrade kit, etc. I'll make a list of all of the mods probably on Friday and take pics. Then, I'll post it all. Just thought I'd give a heads-up to my YotaTech friends who might be looking for a good truck.

Over the weekend, I remembered the Sirius satellite radio and edited the equipment list to reflect that.

If there's no interest here on YotaTech, I'll list it on eBay and locally. Most of you already have your rigs anyway.
