Quick question on gas vents...

I was wondering if there were any of you had a problem where while at the pump you weren't able to pump your gas at the full "speed", or I should say you had to pump it real slowly or else the pump would keep stopping because (and this is my geuss) it did not vent out the air from inside the tank?
Any help would be great.
thanks

I sometimes have that problem, seems to depend on which gas station I'm at. Try pulling the nozzle out a bit and see if that helps.

I can't have the nozzle all the way in, or it just stops. usually have to pull it out about 2"

Never had that problem on the 84 yoty in 23 years, but I have since had that issue with my 99 accord after some idiot back into my quarter panel in 2001. I really should look into it someday??

Don?t forget to run though the FMS on checking and diagnosing the charcoal canister. If it malfunctioning, it can cause the symptoms you are having.

Some times it will click off constantly, sometimes that damn pump won't even stay in. Once, when it was clicking off, it actually jumped out. Sprayed a little gas on the ground. It's only happened on my truck, and none of the other vehicles I've driven...
