Installed MC Rear Bumper Tonight

Well, I got a check from insurance from when I was rear ended on the highway, so I ordered a Marlin Crawler rear bumper and put it on tonight. Pics...

old bumper and trailer hitch off

new bumper on after painting

The paint looks a lot better than in the pictures, it's just all dirty from my hands and all of the crap that fell off from underneath when I was taking the old one off, you'd be amazed at where mud can get... Overall I like it a lot.

Yeah I know I need to figure out something to do with the spare. It might not look so bad if I actually wash that tire off, it sticks out like a sore thumb right now. I ordered it last friday night and it got here yesterday.

Oh yeah I totally forgot to mention, on the left bracket, I could NOT get the front bolt to start into the nut thats welded on. After trying every possible combination to get it lined up right, I finally decided to quit for the night so It's one bolt short overall. I don't plan on towing anything or putting any weight on it really until I get that bolt in, I just need some tips from those who actually got the dang thing in.

Whats the problem with putting that bolt in? No access to it? or is it just not fitting?

I can't tell, thats whats so frustrating. The outer bracket on the bumper that goes on the outside of the frame mount is lined up with the slot in the frame and I can get the hole on the bumper bracket lined up (as far as I can tell), but the bolt just won't start threading. I checked to make sure it wasn't cross threaded by taking the bracket off and the bolt threaded right into it. I'm probably going to have to give it another try tonight or something...

oh i dropped the spare before I even started doing anything. I had my uncle and my friend both trying to help me figure out that last bolt, after an hour and a half we gave up. Other than that everything went very smooth.
