I bought a new radiator for my 1994 4WD M/T 22RE. The guy at the radiator shop was very knowledgeable about Toyota's and these radiators. However, upon returning home with the radiator I see the box says 84-91 4Runner/2WD A/T.

I'm sure the radiator from the 84-91 4Runner fits a 94 Pickup but I'm curious as to know whether the number of cores is the same between a 2WD and 4WD. I'd look at my stock radiator but it's full of coolant so I can't see down to the core. I know, I know, I could take some fluid out and look but I'm just wondering if anyone here knows off hand how many cores an OE radiator for a 94 has.

Duh... there's only one core, I meant rows, sorry.

 

I believe non turbo engines have 2 row radiators. Turbos have 3.
