My front end and back end are exactly equal right now, but I like the aggresive raked look. If I could raise up the rear just 0.5" it would look perfect, but 1" would be too much, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

forget what mehret said. i don't think they make .5s. you could ask cornfed to make a custom pair. either that or buy 1" and grind them down

 

what type of rear springs? try some OME 10mm trim packers. They are a polyurethane as well and fit between the bumpstop spring seat and the spring.

edit..i cant see the type of rear springs making a difference considering where they go.

 

I'd have a hard time believing 1/2 inch would be noticeable... although I could be wrong. Do you have a pic of how it sits currently?

 

for the small amount of rake he's looking for 1/2" will be perfect, if he gets it done you can definitely tell with the proper b/a picture

The tops of the coils should be the same right, they both sit into the same upper bumpstop? Any idea where I can get those?

 

Get the 1" daystars. You'll hardly notice the difference of .5"...

 

When I participated in the rear spring recall all the Stealer did was insert the cone bumpstops (no new springs :-(). I definitely noticed the 5/16s of lift from the cones. When I put my spacer lift in, I had too much rake going on so I removed the cones for an again noticeable difference.

 

Daystars are pretty spendy as are Cornfed? Mine sits about the same. I'd be interested in this as well. I have the Tundra/890 lift and mine sits the same as UNRGrad's. I really didn't want to go with a more aggressive spring to maintain the ride quality. What to do? I've been thinking of buying that Plastic crap that they were making the front "bam" spacers with, and routing a cove groove into it for the springs to rest in. I believe you can get that stuff any thickness you'd want right? HMMmmm.

 

Do you have the cones still, maybe those would work for me?

 

go to the dealership they'll do it, just call and make an appointment for the rear coil recall

 

That wont work if your vehicles not involved. They'll run your Vin and see if your vehicles included in the recall. I was able to check online somewhere and it said mine was not involved.

 

I plan on hanging on to them for possible future mods or if the rear ever begins to sag. You might be able to scratch some up by posting a "Wanted" ad in the for sale section.

 

Hey UNR, Pm "Bighead" He told me the other day that he has a set of Cornfed 1" spacers for sale. These things sell for $100. He told me $60 plus shipping. I'm gonna pass. I didn't want to spend that much. I can't justify spending more money on these stupid spacers. I should have just kept my Daystars and cut them down.

 

After I did the 99 coil swap, I noticed that the truck sat too even with the new coils after they settled. I could have added air to the rear bags, but I found that it seem to kick more that i'd like without any weight. So I ordered a set of OME Trim Packers to add 10mm or .393in of lift to the rear to have a bit of rake.
