I have lost faith in the last two mechanics I deal with , and I need to find someone who knows toyota 4x4 and more specificly the 22re. The ideal situation would be to pay a backyard mechanic to do it but also get me to help so I can learn some tricks.

I need to replace my timing chain, and also doing the cover and oil pump. Going to order from engnbldr next week'ish. I was going to tackle it my self, but pulling the cam and getting that deep into it really scares me.

So ya if you know someone or if you are a 22R-E guru your self and live in Kelowna or anywhere in the Okanagan (I will drive out where ever.) Let me know here or PM me.
