i've got a 22RE, the truck starts kinda hard, it has to crank over a few times.
then a few more.

it idles great, i can't complain about it. but when i mash on the throttle it starts to miss and seem like it wants to die, if i ease into the throttle its fine and seems like it makes all sorts of power.

any ideas?

Try running down a few of the tests from the troubleshooting guide. It could be a number of things. May be a fuel delivery/pressure issue....like the pressure regulator... or cold start timing switch ....or fuel pump relay.
