Thumbs up 1988 Toyota p/u very low mileage! Rare!

Hey everyone -

I have a 1988 Toyota pick-up extra-cab 4WD in mint condition with only 8200 original miles on the motor. This truck is in immaculate condition both inside and out. It is white with grey interior. It was garaged its entire life because I have been driving a company vehicle the lifetime of the vehicle. I am the original owner and this was purchased brand new from the dealership in 1988. The condition of this baby is BRAND NEW! Not a scratch or blemish anywhere. If interested in purchase please shoot me an e-mail at: itbumps@yahoo.com and I will gladly reply with any questions. Please make me an offer on this vehicle and we can talk.

Thanks!

Brad

Cool pics of the classic toyota baby

hey guys, I've created two replies now with pics of this vehicle. asking price is $16,000 obo. When you see the pics your not gonna believe it. Problem is each time I go to post with the pics it says I gotta wait for a moderator to approve the post. So I e-mailed the two guys that run this site to see whats up. Its been a while now since I already posted the pics.

Nice truck, but for $16,000 I can think of a million better cars to buy.

I dont even think it was that much new. Back then you could still get a 2wheel drive for under 10K. It looks nice and clean, but whose to say that speedo wasn't unplugged for a year or two? I've known people that did that just to keep it under the factory warranty for a little bit longer.

Plus I'd be worried about seal problems with that low of mileage on it. I had a vehicle with super low miles on it before and it started leaking all over because they never ran it. Belts, all the hoses, tires, anything rubber is going to probably be dried out. It's a gamble.

Exclamation

Nothing leaks. It was driven periodically to keep it in good running shape. It just wasn't driven great distances. The truck was $16k when it was sold new in '88. If interested make me an offer then. You gotta admit it is a pretty baby.

that looks to be a collectors item in that condition and milage. I would pay 16grand just for the braggings rights if i had it.. of course if it had the 22re in it id pay more

Too sketchy for me, I wouldn't do it again. It's beautiful, but that is really low mileage. I bought a brand new car last year. I took it on one trip and I hardly ever drive it and it has half the milage that truck does.
