Hi guys,

I have been repairing the fender cancer on my 1st Gen in readiness for the sumer.

You'll see from the pic that I do not have a roll bar fitted over the rear seats. Does anyone know where I can get one - I have looked but I am not getting far. Thanks in advance.

local ards is going to be your best bet. Shipping one of those things, especially to the UK is going to be BIG $$$

 

The problem over here is that the 1st Gen Surf (your 4Runner) is as rare as rocking horse sh)t.

And yeah - shipping from the States is gonna be big bucks.

Maybe get hold of a heavy duty pipe bender and make my own?

 

I would say check eBay (for the European market) and also consider looking for someone in the states who may be able to locate one for you and ship it to you.

That's what I would do. Then if you want you can make the roll bar longer, and/or different from stock. Give it something to set it apart .

 

Nice truck! My first 4runner was an 84 in that color, and I am buying it back next month after 10 years!
I will keep an eye out for one around here, and PM you if I see one.

I have one but shipping it would kill you it was almost 200$ to send it to North Carolina.

Can you get me some approximate weight and dimensions - I'll contact a freight forwarder and get some prices.

May prove to be costly to ship but ---- the 3'' twin tube s/steel roll bars can be over $1000 in the UK!
