Carbs... anyone running this stuff
i am curious to see what you all are running for aftermarket carbs...
i know webers are popular, and i see holley has a truck avenger carb out for yotas. Anyone have any opinions what would be a better carb for a trail rig. i have no engine wiring harness in my truck and emissions isnt an issue in my state for a vehicle as old as mine.
just curious as to what you guys recommend, and how hard is it to wire an electric choke?

ok guys so either way i should be ok.... i saw a bunch of webers on ebay today so i guess i will look that route.
the main reason i am doing this is i have no wiring harness, i am tryin to eliminate any need for all those goofy vacuum sensors on passengers side fender.
i guess a d.u.i. would the next step in ensuring it will run well.
thanks for the help guys

I'm running a stock Aisin carb on my truck with a few mods. Why mess with a good thing? The way it is set up the truck can run upside down.

I tuned up my Aisan today, Ive never seen main jets so clogged in my life, it took some serious effort to get those things unclogged and literally nothing on the carb was working so I finally decided to drop $45 on a kit, funny part is it was running before off the power valve only! Turns out its a stock Aisan off a 20R(my motor is a 22R) but no big deal it runs great now.
Heres a vid of it while the power valve was still stuck open (flooded + running reallly rich) its fixed now though..
