After the shop did my head gasket, I went to put my 4Runner into 4HI -- no light but I could tell it engaged. I remembered once before when the wire to the solenoid got disconnected, so I looked and sure enough the top end was just hanging there and the bottom wire was nicely coiled on top of the skid plate. I guess they forgot to reconnect it. I got it hooked back together and the 4WD light works again. BUT, it won't go into 4LO. Never had this problem before. Any simple things I can check?

I saw that after I posted. Funny, I guess I didn't word my search right to catch it. I searched 4WD Low, 4 wheel drive low, and so on and didn't hit it. It has given me a few ideas, though.
