4runner IFS diff with ARB air locker and 4.88 gears.. barely used!!!
i have a IFS diff with ARB air locker and 4.88 gears that came out of my 4runner. i'm doing a sas swap so i need to sell this.. its been hardly used.... $650 obo

Yeah I'm interested in a 3rd gen diff as well. But since his sig says 'torsion bars' I'm thinking 2nd gen.

The Air Locker would be a RD90, same unit is used for all 7.5" ring gear torsion and coil sprung IFS. Obviously, the third member housings are different and so you'd have to do some work to move things around. I also don't think the gears are interchangeable. But the Air Locker is the same for all 7.5" IFS front ends.

Is there enough room in there to change to 5.29s? think I remember someone saying 4.88 are a different case with room for only 4.88 do you know this for sure or am I being mislead???

Dave you are correct. The carrier is the same (RD90) the gears and case are different.
