Steamboat CO - June 16th & 17th Eli (Overnight camping)

Hey all,

Troy and I have set up a CoTTORA based steamboat run but we wanted to extend the invitation to Yotatech folks as well.

We'll run Elli's Jeep Trail on Saturday June 16th - stock/modified rigs. We will camp somewhere near Steamboat res - or Buffalo Pass Sat night. Sunday we are planning to Tube/raft the easy part of the Yampa river through town. (My family has an oar frame raft and they rent tubes for $5. It is an easy float - no bigger than class 2 rapids. Fine on a big inner tube!)

We will also be practicing recovery techniques and will work on making a recovery 101 video to be added to the YT wiki. That means one of us HAS to get stuck so we can film us getting unstuck safely!

A cottora members has offered floor space for Friday night - and some other Cottora/YT members are going to camp Friday night as well.

The discussion about this is HERE:
http://www.ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65031

But feel free to post up in this thread if you are not a member of Cottora...

ALL members of YT are welcome. If you don't feel comfortable driving please come ride and camp with us!

I changed it
There is a drop down box called events near the right side, and you choose edit from the list.

Molly, let me know if you can see the box or not.
If not, I need to check the perms.

But the RSVP didn't the textola I put in there...

Ok... LE MENU (For sat night - while camping)

Here is what I am thinking of making. I need to know which of you would like to be a part of this feast and how many peeps in your party. (Also need to know about any dietary restrictions)

APPETIZER: Bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapenos (Some hot - some mild) and then grilled to perfection

MEAT: Mesquite spice rubbed pork chops with a side of smokey BBQ sauce. Grilled to your liking. (If anyone wan't me to do some chicken for them like this - I will do that too)

VEGGIES: All of the following will be grilled: Rosemary and lime marinated fresh asparagus, Garlic and thyme marinated fresh onions and red, orange and yellow peppers.

BREAD: Some kind of a parmesan cracked pepper bread

PASTA: Garlic angle hair pasta.

DESSERT: TBD

DRINKS: BYOB and bring some to share

So how does this sound?
