Replacing and rebuilding

I have a '87 'Runner and I think that it is time to start replacing belts and gaskets and hoses and all of the other pieces that have been neglected for twenty years.
The reason I started thinking about this is that yesterday, after I was thinking about fixing up the exterior and interior of my truck, the engine started to scream at me---literally! The upper tension pulley that controls the power steering froze and the belt was smoking hot from the friction. I pulled off the belt , so now I'm building muscles just driving. I ordered a new pulley and I'll fix it tomorrow. There seem to be only 3 bolts that hold the plate on, or am I going to get in to more trouble than I think?
As for the other belts and hoses, I'm not the world's best mechanic, am I getting in deep? What would y'all suggest tackling first?? Something easy to get me started....
TIA for your help and suggestions, and no, I won't just let one of you take it off my hands for me! ;^)

have you paid for it yet ?

the bearing is totally replaceable , and runs about 6 bucks .
there is a snap ring on the back side to remove it .. you local bearing shop will have a replacement .

belts and hoses are ALWAYS a good thing ..

check out the service manual for replacement .. it all good , and fairly easy to do .

I live by the rule if aint broke don't fix it, unless i can see it going to happen any minute.. But i'm also the type of person thats not going to burn my stuff up.. If its running a little warm , i'm gonna stop , find the problem and fix it , not try to make it home..I noticed i have a few vacume lines looking dry rotted a year ago.. I sprayed a little either the other day , no leaks yet..When it starts to leak i will fix it until then not gonna worry about it
