Southern California Trails
I'm moving to Yuma, Az at the end of this week beginning of next. I'll be about a 2 1/2 to 3 hrs. away from San Deigo and Phoenix. I was wondering if anyone in So Cal. knows of any good trails that a stock 4runner could wheel.

Check out Anza Borrego. Pretty mild for the most part, but vast. Not much in the way of rocky stuff, but very scenic.
Superstition Mountain, a bit further south has more crawling.
Then there's Big Bear a bit North, a few trails from easy to difficult.
Johnson Valley ain't too far.

Anza Borrego is tons of fun. My favorite is Coyote Canyon and Sheep Canyon.
Here are a few random places near SD that i've heard of: Carveacre, Lawrence Welk, Corral Canyon, etc.
Anybody know Corral Canyon?? I want to go there.

Lawrence Welk is gated off now. The fuzz will show up and has arrived via helicopter from time to time.
Carvacre is still open....on one end at least.
Corral Canyon burned last year, not sure if it is open again or not.
Best bet is to actually make the trek out to the desert. Check the Big Bear trip coming in August.
