A few Evan's Creek pics

Well we made it back from Evan's Creek. Unfortunately we diddn't get to do any of the really gnarly trails. Since the guys were mostly stockers and we had the 2WD Exploder, well... enough said~

We ended up leaving early today, but we got to talk with some of the guys from this forum that were going on their run today(Their rigs were really awesome!I was impressed and I look forward to making my rig more capable off-road. (Long day yesterday, and long night last night. A SNORING member of our party ensured that we didn't get any sleep last night~AND he also broke one of my roof mounted Hella 500 lights-blowing the fuse and taking out all of the roof lights!)
:pat:

Nice pics Rome.
Where abouts up at Evan's is the first pic?
I have not explored to much up in that area, but I have been to the campground that is behind the trail head for 311.

That is nice seeing snow in June still.

Corey, I think that the first pic was on the 7920? road/trail. My buddy in the 2WD Ex, was unable to get up the snow on the trail even though it was a pretty small amount. After the rest of us had driven up, it was packed down, and melted by the sun enough for him to make it. There were some places where the snow was still fairly deep enough to make it impossible to go without airing all the way down like I had to on the the Feb Tonga Ridge run. And since we had a 2WD and 2 stock 4WD's, well we didn't get too far.

Looks like you found a nice camping spot with a view. that last pic of the trail looks pretty steep. You picked a great weekend to go wheelin' at least. So, how's that locker treating you?

Salue,
I have to say that the locker was the best mod that I have done on my truck. That locker was what got me up the steep hills and loose rocky climbs that my rig alone out of the group was able to climb! It was a pretty good time over all.

Great pics. Looks like a great time. Sometimes (a lot of times) it is fun to just spend some "easy" time on the trails.
