WabFab Wheels Spacers Arrived!!!

Put em on last night was as easy as changing a tire. Trucks stance had looked a bit weak since I put on the Bushwacker Flares in the fall this balanced it out a bit. 1.5" spacers for 3" more track over all. Befora and after pics for views...

Post flare pre spacers

ANd now with the spacers...almost ready for summer

As in off the road? Thats crazy! There are some places to wheel around here me and a couple friends are interested in some mild stuff I wont get to bajigitty with this runner as it is just too pretty lol. I have the same front bumper guard in my garage waiting to be straightened out and mounted. It was on a truck that hit a tree.

Looks good! I'm always amazed by how nice your Runner is .

BTW - Where did you get those headlight guards? I just put in some IPF headlights and I think that would be a good idea to protect those suckers. Does it mess up the beam any? Thanks man!

Havent noticed a problem with the beam...but the factory lights suckass anyways lol. The guards actually came off my 83 GTI and were on it when i purchased it from the orginal owner. As I was cleaning it up for the guy who bought it I noticed the two cars used the same headlights and thought they would look nice on the runner so I swapped em out. Not sure where you could get them nowadays I have never seen anyone selling them.

Well, I'll keep looking. I hear you on the headlights... My stockers were worthless but the IPFs are nice .

Sweet GTI man.. I wouldn't mind having one of those myself.

I haven't looked in a long time, but it seems to me that you can get the wire mesh headlight guards from J.C. Whitney (no adverse comments, please - there are SOME things that are worthwhile at JCW).

The original owner had installed them on my truck, and I've kept them. I have only lost one Hella to a very well placed rock in 16 years of ownership.

Wonder how much of a difference they'd make on my 33x12.5s... I mean they already stick out about 3-4" or so past my fenders...

Go for it, or would it just look goofy with another 1-2" wider?
