I need them soon since my 4Runner is going to be for sale and it won't sell well with my custom stereo in it...

Not to hijack, but do you have any pics of your custom door panels?

Somewhere, they aren't very pretty but the idea is right. If you want to have decent speakers in a 86-95 runner they have to be in the lower front portion of the door (take your door panel off and you'll see why). Then use 3/4" MDF and attach it to the door (holes and bolts). Then attach the speaker to the MDF.. to make it look "good" use a router to round the edges of the MDF and apply vinyl.

I'll be getting pics soonish since it'll be for sale and I'll post them if I remember to

are they power? Cloth or tan? Perhaps we could trade as I've been wanting to put speakers in the doors of mine.

Mine are tan leather w/ power windows, locks, etc.
what kind of speakers do you have in them out of curiosity. I'll get some pics asap if yours are the same as mine.

Whoa, I missed this.

I already sold the speakers, they where Dayton Reference series from www.partsexpress.com and where actively crossed over with my alpine. They where very nice speakers. There is no need to trade but I'd send you the speaker baffles (MDF covered in vinyl) if you REALLY wanted them but they are a funky shape due to the fact I had already damaged the door panels and needed to over up a hole. This setup could look very nice if you did a teardrop shape, color matched the vinyl and and improved on the overall workmanship. It was my first attempt with a router, with the 4Runner, and I was on limited time.

Here is a pic:

On a side note I still need the passenger side door panel. I will pay $30
shipped for it in good shape.
