Talking Whooohooo!! My Yota finally has some balls!

New fuel filter............................................ ...................$12
New spark plugs............................................. ..............$10
Raised ignition timing............................................ ........$free
New plug wires .................................................. ..........$14
New custom K&N cone open air filter............................$23
New 2.25" custom exhaust (no cats)............................$75

The ability to pass a Geo Metro on an uphill slope......$ Priceless

My yota finally performs like it should! Im so happy I can't even put it into words. I can actually pull hills now without loosing speed! Not bad for $134 worth in mods. The way my Yota performs now, Im ashamed that I was even thinking about selling it before. For those of you who replied to my last post, thanks alot for your suggestions. Im gonna go see how this thing does pulling my boat.

So- no catalytic converter? No concern about the environment (sorry to be a "greeny" for a second)?

I want the world to be a safe place for my children and grandchildren and the rest of human civilization for that matter. However, I don't believe for a second that the minimal amount of emmisions gasses that are being filtered by our cataltic converters are going to kill the inhabitants of our planet or the rest of our environment. I've had to study the hard data on this in college and in comparison with the cumulative levels of carbon monoxide present in the atmosphere already, the amount produced by the total exhaust of all of the combution engines on the planet is nill. I did'nt write this post in order to debate the kyoto treaty, I just wanted to thank some of the members here for their advice and share some knowledge that might make some of your vehicles perform better for very little money.

When you raised your ingition timing, what did you do? and how much?
I am thinking of doing all that to my truck too, since you are so happy with yours.
