Turn signal quit?

My left front signal went out the other day after I was fooling around that area trying to take my grille off.

I changed the bulb - nothing

Swapped the plug with the right hand side ( working ) and still nothing.

I checked the ground on the firewall and it seems good.

Im out of ideas, anyone know what the hell is up?

often those assemblies become very corroded and you have to either clean them or replace them

yeah its the bumper style.

Im just woundering if I messed somthing up the other day.

I had taken both signals out and left them hanging so I could access the grille snap ☺☺☺☺ers. this is quite anoying. the wires look okay from what I can see at least.

Its not the bulbs. Its not the sockets either.

I have swapped them with ones that I know work and no difference.

it could be a bad wire that got pulled apart when hanging.

my left one doesnt work sometimes. if i walk by and hit it it comes on.

I had tried to jiggle the wires a little to get them to re-connect but no dice.

Im pretty sure its a wire that got messed up from hanging as this stuff hasnt been moved in many many years.
