3VZE Rebuild Questions

couple quick ones that i hope will be useful to others in the future:
(searching didnt turn up answers for me, but if you find one - a link certainly works)

1. Can anyone tell me the stock cylinder bore offhand?

2. Can Rod Bolts be reused on reassembly?

3. How does one go about purchasing plastigage(is there anything specific about it?

4. assembly lube suggestions?

5. Aside from boring hot tanking, and possibly decking what else might i need the machine shop to do with the block?

Thanks

Get a chiltons or a haynes manual for the cylinder bore,

plasti-gauges can be purchased at an auto parts store,

rod bolts can be re-used,

assembly lube is a matter of personal preference,

bore & hone the block if needed. (honing is needed no matter what, but you get the idea)

Bore specs are:
Standard diameter:
STD
Mark ?1?
87.500 ? 87.510 mm (3.4449 ? 3.4453 in.)
Mark ?2?
87.510?87.520 mm (3.4453?3.4457 in.)
Mark ?3?
87.520?87.530 mm (3.4457?3.4461 in.)
Maximum diameter:
STD
87.73 mm (3.4539 in.)
O/S 0.50
88.23 mm (3.4736 in.)

Plastic gauge comes in several sizes, you will need the .001-.003 and it should be green in color. Rob bolts, yes, you can easily reuse them. Assembly lube, use a thin film of nice assembly lube. As for cylinders, oil, but an old timer told me to use Crisco (the white shortening) and have used it with great results.
