Here you go, everything you ever needed to know about bodylifts:
http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/BodyLiftKit.shtml
Also you can get a short throw shifter kit from Roger or Marlin:

http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/tra...e/tcase_ac.htm
I've never bent one but I've heard you can do it if you're careful not to bend the part that goes into the gearbox.

Yea i looked through those. I need a quick fix, I dont have time to order a shifter. I had just read somewhere you can bend the shifters and they will work but I cant remember where I read it. I was hoping someone on here had read it and knows where to find it

Ok Related Question..My bodylift didnt come with shifter extension and it says I didnt need it for my 86. I had to cut my floor over an inch to one side and cant run a boot whatsoever. So did my truck really need an extension or should I just buy a shifter

I am running it without the boot right now but it is noisy as hell
I wanna find a way to get the boot back in there. Shortyz if you want a pair of extensions I will mail you these.

Shifter
I cut the middle out of the metal plate around my shifter boot to get it to stay in reverse, didn't work. I ended up taking the shifter out and heat bending it towards the front about 1 1/2 in. Been working great for about 3 years. BTW I've got a 2 in. body lift.

If you're going to bend do it cold because heat ruins the rubber insulator stuff inside the shifter.
