Hey now, what's wrong with the stock radio?

EDIT: Seriously though, junkyards usually have stacks of the things right behind the counter...

my buddy has one out of a 86 or 87 with a tape deck it might be missing the VOL knob

Sorry to threadjack but since there is never a stock radio thread and I dont want to make one...

I have an aftermarket radio (who dosnt) but the original tape deck is still under the new cd player, I have seen pictures of trucks with that area open and used for like....junk can I just slid this thing out or what?

If you're not married to the stock radio idea, I just put one of these Blaupunkt MP35 Monterey's in my truck. Got it from Crutchfield's for $69 and they're still on sale. It's an AM/FM CD MP3 player with a remote. For a cheap radio, I'm pretty happy with it and Crutchfield carries brackets and mounting kits to fill the double din hole if you need it.
