Drilling new grommets through firewall

Drilling new grommets through firewall
I installed three grommets in my firewall today and I'm very pleased with how they turned out. Thanks to Bob and WATRD for answering questions.
I disconnected as many hoses from my charcoal canister as I could and pulled it out of the way and tied it off. There was one hose I could not budge so I just made due. It worked out fine.
Here's the charcoal canister tied up.

I stuck my head under the dash and realized the Toyota is so smart, they actually have a pre-cut section in the insulation ready for this job!

I finished cutting it out and had a perfect spot for three water tight grommets.
I used the uni-bit that I specifically purchased from Amazon for this job and it worked great! ($20 if you can believe it!)

Here is the first hole.

Here's after the third hole.

All three installed.

Here's how the look from the inside.

I put a rubber O-ring on the outside between the grommet flange and the firewall. These things are waterproof
I'll start wiring my projects tomorrow and post more updates.

I was gunna go that same route but I didn't think I could fit a couple of 4 gauge wires through it without risking constant leaks. I found the grommets on McMaster-Car (although I know Parts Express sells them too) at the same time finding the grommet with the 6 holes, and decided to go that route.
By the way, you save SERSIOUS cash by ordering them from McMaster-Car, they are literally 1/4 the price comparted to Crutchfield, Parts Express, etc
