Got a call from him tonight, he said it was quite the experience. He took a bunch of pics, look for them soon. I guess 223:1 is reeeeeeeeally s l o w!

Unfortunately that also means that he's heading back to AZ tomorrow, so no Hollister Hills for him this weekend.

 

Call him back and tell him that I want him to take a video of him spotting the truck in Martinez Canyon. As in, get out of the truck, let it crawl and film it.

No, didn't get to meet him, Fresno was a bit too far to go own after work. If the install would have kept him here later, we were talking about doing a run this weekend.

It was fun to chat with him though, he talked like we've known each other for years!

 

He'll probably have time to set up that damn tripod as well.

damn, steve with a crawler... i can now see him crawling on that sand paper stuff you guys call rocks. and steve knows i can't say much since there are no rocks in VA. :cry:
