98 3rd gen Pre-Runner

Has anyone seen the July 03 issue of Off-Road magazine. They have an article on a 98 pre-runner. He's running a S/C and NOS!

This rig is sweet, they never have Yota articles. This a special!

Man that truck really makes it's way around. I've seen a couple stories (all online though) written about that thing. I can't believe it actually got coverage in a 4wheeling mag. The funny thing (to me) is that like you said its 2wd and since it's a 4R I can't imagine it's that great as a prerunner compared to a truck prerunner.

This mag has a section in the back devoted to pre-runners, I think it is in here merely because it is different.
