(!)Brake, Battery, A/T Temp lights in dash come on and off.

The brake, battery, and A/T Temp lights in the dash cluster have come on and then turn off after about 15 mins of driving, the next time I start it they do the same. If I drive then come to a stop, when take off they go out for a second and come back on.
The AT fluid is clean, smells good and cold first thing in the morning, the level is good after warmed up and checked properly. I have jiggled the wires under the hood at various locations with someone watching the dash cluster but nothing happens, they stay on.
I'm thinking a short or some type of sensor cauing the lights gremlin.
Please point me in the right direction to fix this.
Thanks,

Rig is a 1991 4runner, 3.0, automatic

I'd suggest check ing charging voltage when the warning lights are on. Chances are that you will find that it is not charging.

My truck did the exact same thing, replaced the battery and that worked for about two days. Replaced the alternator and that did the trick.

I pullled the battery and took it in for a check at the battery specialist (Polar battery). Checks out fine. Brought the 4runner back to the shop and he tested the load on the battery in truck, checks at 12.6 volt. Check battery while engine running 13.7 volts.
He said only other thing is pull the alternator and bring it back for bench test.
The truck starts great and head lights are not dim at night even after driving with them on for over an hr.
Any other things to check?

Happened to me...it was my alternator. Tried running for awhile like this and it killed my battery as well. If I had changed the alternator sooner I could have saved the battery. Bought an autozone lifetime warranty alternator and haven't had any problems with it. About 6000 miles on it.
