Midwest to the Northeast (snow storm)
so how many people have you pulled out? LOL
we got hit with about 10inches so far, suppose to get 4-5more ending around midnight tonite.
so far i have pulled out a 2wd Dodge Dakota and a 2wd Jeep Wrangler (didnt know people actually bought those)
also helped push 3 cars out. didnt wanna tow and rip there bumper covers off lol
then i almost got stuck going thru a 3-4ft snow bank that the plows left across a side street. 4 low and a little momentum got me thru that.
i love this little truck

That all you got?
I was in Colorado and learned one thing:
If you get stuck, you're screwed. The departmet of transportation guys don't give a turd and the locals think it's funny... Leave it to guys from TX to stop and lend a hand.
This was a photo taken in Kansas on the way to Colorado. State was declared a disaster area.
Going off the road here means they call out the National guard:

We've been very fortunate here in the Pacific Northwest for quite a few years now.
No massive storms have hammered us like in the winter of '68-'69.
I was only 14 then, [ giving away my age here ] it snowed every day from October through March.
-40* temps, cars were stuck, trucks were stuck, road graders were stuck, trains were stuck.
I lived in a tiny town then, all the local farmers brought their bulldozers to town to clear it out.
They pushed all the snow down to the High School Football/Baseball feilds, where it didn't completely melt away till May.

Even ran across a few off duty firefighters, out leaning a hand.
alot of the Co. people belong to F.E.A.T. we are not compinsated in anyway, if we damage our vehicles, to bad, so I know that alot of people was out leanding a hand.
Denver is a big area, we cant cover everywhere, and cant get to everyone, sorry no one helped you out.
but I do see your point, alot of selfish people, that dont care about anyone but themselves.

Ditto on that. I lost count of how many folks I pulled out last month. So many that I ordered a new rear bumper with shackle hangers so I wouldn't have to keep crawling under to hook up to the axle!

Hmmmm - tc is supposed to be on his way to Chicago right now. His flight was cancelled this a.m from Denver so they re-routed through Kansas City. I think he is in the air now on hos way to Chicago. Hopefully he'll be able to make it to his customer visit tomorrow, but without his rig - it's looking bad...

Haven't pulled anyone out, cause anyone that has been in off the road has usually been wrapped around a telephone pole and the tow truck was already there pulling it out...
People need to learn to drive in a inch of snow...
Heck, around 10pm I went out when ice was just starting to form over the 3 inches that was on the road.
I was driving around in 2wd with no issues.
I am thinking of driving up to NY and playing in some of there snow...
