My 1995 4Runner 3vze has started to sound like a jeep. It has that high pitch whinning sound that gets worse with higher rpm's. Any suggestions?

 

is it coming from the rear end? sounds like a bad bearing

 

The sound is coming from the front passenger side.

 

myne started that too, i got a stethescop and listened around, and i pinpointed it to be the timing belt bearing. it gets louder and louder as it gets older, it eventually has to be replaced. my cousins 89 with the 3.0 had the same problem at right about the same mileage i got, 160,000.
