Growling front wheels
My front right weel is growling and vibrating on and off but it has gotten super bad and I need to take care of it ASAP. It did this last winter and I re-built the bearings up front and it stoped but I suspect there is a bigger problem here. Arn't there some brass bushings up there that cause this problem? What do I need to do to fix it? What tools, parts, and time do I need to devote to this project? Any pictures and writeups would be appreciated! Thanks!

Ok, I did some reading. I'm interested in just greasing it for now but I couldn't fully understand what I would need to do. Could I just pull the wheel and disc rotor and lube up the cv axle by squishing some grease in there or mabe some spray lube? I really don't have a lot of tooks at my desposal right now.

If you have to go as far as pulling the spindle, you can do it just by unbolting the 4 bolts on both ball joints. You will also have to pull the hub, center bolt and c-clip,the steering rod (that the brake line mounts to) and caliper. You will need to force the upper and lower a-arms apart - stock bottle jack works great for this. I just replaced the spindle on my passanger side and all in all it took me 2 hours with hand tools. So all in all not bad...

Well I ended up just pulling the brake rotor/ bearings and then pushine in the CV and smooshing some grease behind there. It seemed to work but if it doesn't last I guess I will have to tear into it more.
