Fuel Injector Pintle Caps
#2
I have a cracked "pintle cap" on one of my injectors also.
It can be physically removed now that it's cracked, so I hope they can be replaced. I know replacement injectors aint cheap (one search showed 280+ each).
I'm thinking I might have to call around in city to injector specialists.

NAPA may stock rebuild kits for those injectors, but they can be hard to find.
One alternative is to send them to witchhunter.com - he'll clean, flow test them and replace the rubber + pintle caps for $15/injector.

called my injector shop, they said 99% of injectors have replacable pintle caps, but they can be numerous different styles, and also can be a real pita to remove/install. I just sent mine to them so they can fix it right.

I just had mine rebuilt and flow tested by Rich at Cruzin Performance in Michigan. Great guy to work with and it was $84 and i sent him a USPS label to send them back -- took all of about a week to get em back.
He replaces all of the replaceable parts on them and even sends you the old stuff back with the cleaned injectors.
