Problem with clutch/clutch pedal
Ok, the truck in question is an '86 4Runner. Manual trans obviously, 22RE engine.
The truck had been running fine, until I began to notice the clutch engaging much faster off the floor than usual. I noticed it was doing this in my backyard when I was moving some stuff around in it. I parked it. Went to it the next morning, and when I tried to start it with clutch depressed, and in first gear, it began to jump forward with each crank of the engine. Now you can start it and all in neutral (either clutch depressed or not, it still starts), but you can not put it into any gear.
Any help on identifying the problem and/or how to fix it?

EDIT: And the clutch peddle now has almost zero resistance on it. It moves up and down with no effect.

How many miles? The hydro goes out around 140-160K. I just gone done with mine. The master had no more fluid in it, just a lump of black goo. No leaks. It was working but the pedal was sticking to the floor sometimes. The pushrod was all the way out, too. The disk was almost to the rivets. 1/64" remaining.

If it still won't disengage, than the clutch is shot. If the disk is burrowed into the damaged flywheel or the disk is rusted (stuck) to the shaft at the spline than it won't disengage.

I just got done with mine at 145K. $1200 for new clutch kit and cylinders and labor. It it just too cold right now to be under there. And I barely have the time.
