rough start and misconnected wire help plz

rough start and misconnected wire help plz
ok so my little brother thought it would be nice of him if he used the degreaser on my engine while i was out. fine right except now theres two wire on the top of the engine that are disconnected and im sure they werent before and now the engine starts rough and tries to stall just while idling help if you know what these wires are and im pretty sure they go in this plastic thing(see pics) but i just dont know how they go help!!! Its a 1986 4Runner 22-RE 4x4 5 speed

Looks like the wires for the Idle Up VSV (the plastic thing it looks like it goes to). Bumps up the idle when you switch the A/C on. Shouldn't make a difference for the regular idle I wouldn't think. Checked the cap for moisture?

distributor cap right? and no i havent could this be the problem for the rough idle the hard start and all that? if i do fine moisture what should i do?..so these wires shouldnt matter if i dont use my AC? and another thing the plastic thing has three hoses coming out of them(vacuums maybe?) and thats y i thought these might be it and when i change the combination of pluggin the wires in i get different results. thanks for the help :bigclap:

Water in the distributor cap? Old tried and true spray some WD-40 inside then wipe it out with a clean rag. WD (water displacing)- 40 other uses. ( if i remember right). keep a can in the truck in case if "accidental" water logging.

oh ok ill be sure to check the cap soon and of course who doesnt carry WD 40 along always and anyone else help with these damn stupid wires
