94 runner rear sag, suggestions?

Well, I'm tired of how the truck looks with the rear end sitting lower than the front. I'm sporting stocker enkeis with 31x10.5's, and as far as I know the truck is otherwise stock.

I'm looking to level it out, but I think the 3" and 4" rear lift kits are a little too much for what I need right now. Any suggestions? I'm kinda new to the whole off-roading thing, as my other toy is strictly on-road and doesn't deal with as much suspension travel as is normally required on these puppies.

Also, ARB lockers.....what in the heck do I have to mod to put those in, or can I just throw 'em in? Any other alternatives vs. those?

Just get new rear coil springs with a little bit of added height. Call an offroad place and they will know exactly what you need, every 4Runner has this problem.

Search the site (button is on the left side of the menu) and you can find a ton about lift kits, ARBs, etc.

I think I should upgrade shocks to match increased height springs too though.

Definitely upgrade shocks. I went with a 3" coil spacer and all my shocks do is squeak now. So, I went over to 4 Wheel Parts, got new pro comp shocks and went to put them on and they are the wrong ones so i have to go back to 4 Wheel Parts and hopefully they will let me exchange them for the correct ones, but yes, definitely invest in an upgrade on shocks too.

any suggestions for decent coil springs? I'll probably upgrade all 4 shocks too because I'm bouncy on heavy bumps, haha. Thinkin Rancho shocks.

Check my build-up:

I used the 2nd option kit from strap22 here:

Read both threads to get an idea of what is involved but I'm really happy with the 1.5" of lift it gave me. Oh, and don't forget... After you finish the lift you'll have to get an alignment done which will add a little to your cost.

Here is my set up https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f128/downey-coils-bilstein-shocks-2nd-gen-4runner-76341/ ARB's require the install into the thirds, all the plumbing, and the intall of the air compressor. Your looking at 2K plus for a full intall.. little more than just "slapping them in"

Coil spring spacers are another option, if you are satisfied with the current ride quality:

I did the Eibach +1.5" rear springs. Technically, you're putting the suspension back to stock, so you don't need longer shocks.

If I had it to do over, I probably would have gone with the trdparts4u package 2.

I will probably go with the package 3 when I unload this spare VQ35DE motor I have laying around.

Thanks for the great responses guys!

I vote for OME springs, but they will put your tail a little higher than your front. but I like the look. I like my Skyjacker Nitros shocks. Can get them for
0-3 inch lift for about $35 a piece.

the more I think about it, the better that package #2 looks as I just want to ditch these saggy stock springs. This'll also help prevent too much weight transfer on acceleration.
