Your states best wheeling area

I was thinking about taking some time off, bank account willing, and do a little North American wheeling tour next summer. No real purpose like the video tour, just wheeling, spreading misinformation, and consuming some beer in as many locations as possible. I have no idea what route I would take, but if everyone posts up what they consider the best area in each state, I'll know where to go when I get there. I would prefer a trail or trails that are challenging, but that will allow me to drive away to the next location without reassembling my rig. This might also be a good reference for people to look at if they are traveling to a new area. So post 'em up.

I would say River Rock ORV, near millidgeville, Ga for my state, for the other state I spend all of my time in (Tennessee) I would say Tellico...I think this also qualifies for North Carolina, and probably Gray Rock in Alabama. SOrry, I didnt really intend to do the whole southeast, it just sort of worked out...

Saw some pictures on TTORA from a road trip a guy took, and it convinced me my next road trip is gonna be from here (near Denver) to Albuquerque, over to Sedona, AZ, then Moab and back.

If you come down this way, be sure to post up on here and the CO TTORA forum (www.cottora.org) and we'll show you around!

Right. As if I would go and advertise it. The very definition of great wheeling for me means no people.

If you make it out his way next summer, join us in Tellico. June 7-10 for the SE4RJ4!!!! As I hear it , there are some West coasters coming this way then, maybe you could tag along and make it out here.

I probably won't be able to travel for fun again until October, that's when I would do this trip if it happens. I'll keep it in mind. Besides, the brewery is in MN, a little out of your way to Tellico, but right down the street for my visit home for Xmas. I'll be sure and have an extra one. Just for you.

Now quit making me clog up my own thread.

How about some suggestions from the Northeast. I lived in Maine for four years and never did find anywhere to wheel. If CT sucks then where do folks up there go?
