Total Chaos Suspension kit?

Anyone know anything about this company?

www.Chaosfab.com

They look like they have some killer stuff but they do not have any prices listed which is never good.

Im in the market for a lift to clear 34 or 35" swampers. on a 94 yota truck. Im not wanting to do a body lift because one day i want to install a different bumper and winch.

Any just wondering what you though about these guys

I know a few people who run total chaos. All their product are very high quality. I dont know if you were looking at the ball joint or uniball kit but here is a link to Kartek. I dont think you will be able to fit 35's on it, maybe with fiberglass

I checked into them just for the upper A arms and I was quoted $650 from NWOR! If you find some better prices let me know. Be prepared to spend some dough.

your 94 has the 1st gen toy IFS, expect to spend $2500 to $3000 for the kit.

the quality is top notch, the a-arms are made of cromoly, and these kits are beat to hell by desert racing teams.

you may want to check out ATS Racing

they have the same thing, but slightly cheaper

although not the better than a solid axle for hardcore rock crawling, for street and every other type of off roading, these kits will be superb. they will soak up bumps at high speeds like you wouldnt believe

You could always go with superlift or procomp, or something along those lines. Those are around $6-700.

avoid cheapo brands like rough country etc

they ride rough and suck in the flex dept

the cost of an IFS lift is too much considering how cheaply your truck can be SAS'd

I thought I read it would cost like $1,500 -2,000 to do a front axle swap.

What would be a good axle to looks for? I have a D30 front axle but I would not think it would be to strong. It came out of my jeep when we did hte build up.

throw the D30 in the trash. for an axle you want either a toyota minitruck axle or a D44 from a wagoneer, or a chevy D44 that is cut down. pretty much any axle will work, depending upon how much time and money you want to invest.

those prices are with a lot figured in

if you can do a lot of the work yourself, especially the fab work, it can be done easily for as much as an IFS lift

note: this does not include gears, lockers, etc. i am assuming you were going to do these anyway IFS or not

With the TC kit they recommend 33" max, but with a 1" body lift 35" will fit. As for bumper and winch with a 1" body lift, no problem, many members have done both.....

After playing around at Hammers, I'm thinking that 33" will still be a bit small. I may go with a 1" body lift, then send my spare set of rims to Champion to get beadlocked and get a set of MT/R's.

I'll have a few months to decide, No $$$ since my last repair bill, ate up my resources....

I was just just over at NWOR last week picking up my new steering stabilizer, Pitman and Idler arms, and talked about the lifts. He told me they were selling the Total Chaos kit for $1,200. That doesn't include fiberglass fenders, but I doubt the fenders are gonna cost $1,300.

Kartek has the balljoint kit for $1600, but you still need other parts like, Shocks 2.5"x8" SAWs about $700, SAW Torsion Bars $100, Upper Shock Mounts $160, 4WD T-100 axles to retain 4WD about $400 new from dealer, Fiberglass Fenders $300. It is by no means a complete kit, as you can see there are a lot of extras you have to get.

I have a friend that has a D44 and D60 at this house that he will sale me. He went with bigger parts after some one rolled his 25000 ram.

I guess what im asking is do they make the kits alreay or do i have to look around till i can find each kit.
