CHEAP On board Air. Inflate & Deflate 4 tires at once
#121
You would not want to use this compressor for air tools! It is way to small, it would be running all the time and you would cook it. If you have a air tank it will cut down on the amount of time airing up your tires

I'm sorry if you think our prices are unfair. We are not a discount chain store like Pep Boys nor do we even try to match there prices. They price things down like this for loss / leaders. If they price it low enough they get many buyers to add it into there shopping cart with other stuff. They sell many more that way than they do to the 4WD croud! We do our very best here to sell quality parts at fair prices and deliver fast shipping service. What about the people that don't have a Pep Boys in there city or just don't want to run all over with todays gas prices? We are here to serve them..............

Just to let the YT Crowd know Ed (awsumfn) Is the gentleman I bought the Air Compressor from a year and a half ago and is what started this whole thread. Ed was VERY helpfully with the purchase, shipping and he answered all the questions I had, Plus showed me a few pics of his kick a$$ little 4x4.
Was he the cheapest place to buy the compressor from.. NO. but his customer service, knowledge of the product (and others like it) and truthfull advise went above and beyond what was required. and the fact that Ed is a 4x4 Enthusiast (sp?) closed the deal.
If it wasn't for Ed spending a few hours of his time with me on the phone in the very begining of this all, no one would even know of the MV-1050
Thanks Ed.

has an air filter ever broke for yall? i've emailed dv-innovations twice now and they havent resonded about me ordering a replacement air filter. i got a threaded hose barb from lowes that seems to fit the intake hole on the compressor, but it does not thread easily and i am afraid of messing up the threads. ed, do you supply replacement parts?

Filters are available. The filter has a metric thread not a pipe thread that is why the barbed fitting does not fit right . If your careful and have a tap you may retap the threads to a pipe thread. We received a freight damaged compressor back last week that I'll give you the filter for the cost of postage. I can send it out "Priority Mail" and you should have it in 2-3 days. Give me a call 209-529-2886

Both boxes say 72lpm, but the MF-1050 lists on the pump 50lpm or something like that.
Pepboys never carried the MV, but they carry and have carried the more expensive (like Andy said, $59.99) Note: Pepboy's cost is $38...
Just adding some more info out there for everyone. Also, q-industries said not to expect the 89/Twin Pump until Spring *shrug*

Yeah I noticed it was a bit faster with the ricer filter. I must have added about 5HP to the compressor using the K&N filter on it
My next Compressor mod is going to be a type R sticker on it, I should get another 5HP with that mod.
I did however notice that the compressor doesnt heat up as fast with this filter

Q-Industries
Q89 Air Compressor
The “DUALLY”
Q-Industries just released a limited supply of these new “Twin Pump” air compressors out. If you have heard about the SuperFlow MV-50 you’ve heard about Q-Industries.
They have brought the bar up another notch with this new compressor! We did some air up times on two different size tires. Each tire was aired down to 10lbs and then aired up to 30lbs. Here is what out tests cam up with:
31x10.5x15
1 minute 25 seconds
33x12.5x15
1 minute 55 seconds
DETAIL
Dual pump with single motor (Test unit was chrome)
12 volt power cord is 10’ long. It also contain the on/off switch and circuit breaker reset.
28’ coiled air hose with gauge
Sturdy metal base so this may sit in sand and not fall over
Rubber mounts from compressor to the base.
Nice heavy duty handle to carry it around to each tire without burning yourself
Black carry bag just like the others
NOTE: I have not received the motor and pump specs yet but I will post them when I get them. Bottom line people are really just interested in the air up times because the other numbers do not mean much to most.

here's what i did with it though.
Calculated it out to nearly 500 hours of use.
i used it for my airbeds and track tires.
it was run underwater accidentally once, as it was raining like crazy on the track lol.
it had i'd say 100 hours of operating in over 100deg heat.
had been hit by a car once lol
dropped about 20 times.
it was even overpowered once when a buddy used it on a 24v system (ouch)
so, all in all, it survived more than it should.
