Anyone have custom plates on your 'Yota? Give us your model and year - Then tell us exactly what characters are on the plates. Let us guess the meaning!
I just filed for custom plates in California. Apparently they'll let me know in about 12 weeks (12 WEEKS!) if they are approved or not.
My truck is a '94 4x4 Xtra Cab. The plates (pending approval) will be...
...many people are opposed to posting their license plate number online.
Oh, I didn't know that actually. Why are people worried about that? We drive everywhere and the plates are visible to all. Only law enforcement officers can search based on plates, and even then who's to say an online ID is gonna be that person? I guess I'm not as paranoid about it.
I've got disabled vet plates, which means no DEQ (smog) no renewal costs
If you're a disabled vet you shoulda been given the whole truck for no charge... and a house too. But our country is screwed up and we celebrate athletes and actors instead.
I mean I got my house on a VA home loan, I got my college education basically paid for, I get a free hunting/fishing license and a discount on most of my hunting tags. The real ones that suffered are the vets who were spit on, called baby killers, and told to take off their uniforms off when they got home from Vietnam.
I have always liked Oregon's "Pacific Wonderland" license plate. It was introduced to honor Oregon's 150th birthday in conjunction with Oregon Historical Society and to look like the original "Pacific Wonderland" plates released between 1959 to 1964. They are not customizable, but look very classic.
I would get one, but I need to spend the money on repairs to my truck first.
