What are you planning on doing with the rest of the Trekker? Is the body just shot or??

 

i have had a few messages/emails about the Trekker.
after pulling about everything off of it I could either use in the 94, sell or give to friends to use the shell of the truck was loaded up

it ended up down at a shop that does Lexus engine conversions to use for UZ engine mock ups

 

At least its going to good use! I'd imagine a UZ powered 1 gen would be a monster.

 

I was playing around on Google Earth today and they must be stuck in a time warp because they was at least 3 or 4 years ago when I was pulling the top and putting half doors on in the late spring

Weird how I still get people wondering what happened to this thing. It went down south the end of the summer of 2017, was used for a Lexus engine conversion mock up.
It eventually ended up in the boneyard. Dunno if anyone did anything with the remains after that.

 

I subscribed to this build way back in 07 when you got it. I remember I had never heard of a Trekker prior to your build thread.
I just caught myself up when I saw your post. Sucks it ended up in the junkyard

 

I miss build threads... and the forums. I still (infrequent) for research, tips and tricks for how others have potentially done some goofy weird thing that I'm about to do. Currently building a '77 Chinook 4x4, @rkymtnfab on instagram. Just gave you a follow!
