I went to the county fair this past weekend, had some good food, and got mildly ill this week. I managed to get one driveshaft on before I had to call it quits, but it fit perfectly.

Q: How do you fit a 5-foot driveshaft in a 4-foot trunk?

A: You don't...

Before I got it lengthened, it just barely fit in my trunk. Now, being about 5 inches longer, it needed some more room. Oh, and this isn't the biggest, dumbest load I've hauled with my car.

This weekend, I want to get it driving. I have the parts, I have the tools, I have motivation. Let's do this!

I think McMaster, but not 100% sure. I got the expanding for a few reasons: First, it can fit may different size wires and bundles. Second, it offers good abrasion resistance (main reason). And finally, because it's mesh, it won't trap moisture or dirt. I ordered a couple dozen feet, so I have plenty more for when I re-do the battery setup.

Similar loom can be found on eBay. I find that a lot of good companies have eBay stores to reach customers easier, and often include free shipping.

When cutting it, I needed to cut about 2 inches longer than I needed because the ends would come unraveled a bit when feeding the wire through.

edit: I'm a little bummed this week. They moved me to another location without prior notice, so I've been stressed with longer days. I REALLY want to get this done. Exhaust and interior... that's it.

I'll let you all know when it's on the road. The pics and vids won't stop.

I had a family event this weekend, and I think I'll be helping with another car this week.

That was pretty bad-A printing those clips. A while back some one else printed an intake/afm adapter.

I must admit, you've probably pushed me over to doing a 3.4 now. And I needed more procrastination excuses.

Getting antsy waiting here though.

I saw the AFM Adapter... unfortunately, I didn't have the printer back when I needed one.

I'm getting antsy myself. I got moved for work, more responsibility piled on, and other car maintenance.

I hope to work on the exhaust some this weekend.

This weekend I didn't have anything planned! Woo! So I got some work done on cleaning the shop, finishing the exhaust, tweaking the tachometer, and making an ECM bracket.

Added a resistor in series with the potentiometer. This is a 47K ohm, which works for the higher adjustment (117.6), but not the lower (29.4). I need to replace the resistor with a 20k-22k ohm.

And one of the things we're working on at work...
