Need help removing fuel pressure regulator
I need some advice on removing the fpr on a 1988 toyota 4runner 22re, I can't figure out how to remove it for the life of me, any advice is greatly appreciated.

unscrew the fpr, then. there isn't anything else holding it in, other than corrosion/build-up. it will come out. the nut tightens the fpr, washer, and o-ring to the fuel rail. there is no magic to it.

It should be this simple. Probably just some corrosion. Make sure you don't have a random hose or something that's maybe binding on it. But the FPR is simply just unscrew and remove.

If it doesn't fit force it. If it breaks it needed replacing anyway...
The fuel rail is only attached with two bolts, if you back those off you might have enough room. Don't drop your injectors, very fragile plastic lol

I ended up just backing the bolts out of the intake enought to give it wiggle room to get it out, and removing the egr tube, the new one went in without even coming close to hitting, again i appreciate the advice and help guys.
