Hey guys, found a few links to download the repair manual but they are dead...can someone help me out? I'm pulling a motor right now (have another post started) and need a manual to make life easier. I haven't been able to locate one locally.

The Robert Bentley one is a decent substitute for an OEM FSM (Factory Service Manual)

"Toyota Pickup, 4Runner Service Manual 1978-1988"
(its out of print, but maybe there is a used one cheap)

 

I thought that link was dead. It made my day when I clicked on it and it was working. I had been printing or saving any of them I could still find, thinking they were taking them all down. The online versions sure are a lot easier to use in my opinion. Thanks

 

IT HAS been taken down. It's a web archive. There's some project that takes a snap of every web page and if you go back in time you can read it. That's what you just did. It sometimes takes a few minutes for the link to work but it still does.

You can go back in time and look up anything except it doesn't work with Facebook. Big Brother is watching.

i would still recommend downloading the PDF's to a jump drive or whatever...

Keep your eyes peeled at thrift stores and garage sales there's info out there! I found this at local thrift store for only a couple bucks
