I've had WMP 10 for a while now, and I keep having a recurring problem with some MPEG files not showing video. It'll play sound and all, but not video. What's up with that?

 

Chris, I had that problem with MP9 and started a help thread. Lots of good tips from our helpful resident experts there. I'll bet one of them will fix you right up even though I've had no problems with MP10 since install.

MP 10 is running great.
After my format a few weeks back, I did not even install any of the dvx codecs I mentioned in Bob's thread he linked to above.

I like MP 10 better than 9.

 

Try downloading the new divx:

I uninstalled everything but WMP 10, which I reinstalled (couldn't figure out how to completely remove it). Still no go. I also installed the new divx, and nothing.

 

I kinda had a goast with mp10. when I first installed it it would skip playing mp3s like a cd skipping and some mpeg would do the same. I've rebooted a couple times ran all my maintinace software. cleensweep , disk dosctor windoctor speed disk and I haven't had any problems. I'm still not sure what was going on. works though
