Virus detected
While the g/f was searching for pictures to update her myspace profile, Norton 2005 detected a Downloader.Trojan. I tried to repair 4 times and no go. I have got viruses before and it eventually degraded the hard drive and crashed. I don't want to go through this again. Does any of the computer guys know anything to do about this Trojan? Here is the info of the location where it is. Norton said to turn off restore, restart the computer in safe mode, and run a scan again and to delete anything that has trojan contained in it.

Since it is in the temporary internet folder, you can delete the entire contents of the folder. Then do what Norton suggested and shut off system restore, run in safe mode, and scan again. See if it shows up anywhere else.

Yeh they had an awesome x-mas...couldn't take any pics though because the camera had dead batteries and the charger was at her dads garage and he changed locks because he fired some workers. It was good for them though...I'd say all in all they maybe got over 30 presents a piece!
