Oh yeah, you can not connect to any public server without the patches.
Current version patch for 2004 is 3339.

Be sure to get the editors bonus pack too which includes more maps.
That file is 84.4 MB.

Maybe Santa will bring Danny 2004 so he can install it :xmas6:

Here is a tip for 04.
If you need to find your way to the enemies base or back to your own, push the m or n key.
A blue or red mist will shoot out showing you the way.
Enemies can see it too, and will hunt ya down though :xmas7:

Bruce, that IP is only for the original Unreal game called Unreal Tournament.
Danny does not have 2004 loaded yet.

To play it you need the game, the 436 patch, and all 4 bonus packs mentioned elsewhere in this thread.

I can play sometime this week if anyone wants to play.

 

Rain has kept me home this week and I can't work on my rig. Even though I need to finish a room addition, I've had some time to play UT2004. Played CTF Instagib for almost 2 hours and had a blast! Kinda of fun blowing those translocator bunnies out of mid-air.

 

Yeah, the Instagibber is my favorite weapon in both UTs.
