So much power and a CRT? It's like a Ferrari on Civic tires. Save your eyes, get an LCD.

Ehh it was free hah... I probably will... its just for college right now... just needed to get something shipped there quick...

And those LCD's are ALOT! I will wait for a good deal on one and pick it up...

Edit.. hum I guess it was 38 bucks... lol

Call them and change the order. It's not likely they will ship it on Sunday.

Well, you say the upgrade to an LCD was $38? They should just tack that on and not care what coupons you've used.

The CRT monitor is pretty much worth nothing. If you were to sell it straight out as brand new it might fetch $20-30 locally, nobody would even bother paying shipping. An LCD is worth ~$150-200, even if they send you the smallest 15" they have for the $38 extra.

(15" LCD = same desktop real estate as 17" CRT)

Oh no the CRT was additional 38 bucks... the LCD would be an additional $150 dollars... but maybe it is still worth it...

They are open, I yakked with them a few hours ago.
They have a button to push on the tele to change your order to speak with someone.

BUt perhaps they close up shop at a certain time?
But yeah, go for an LCD.

Wow Dells customer service is horrible so far... I talked to a lady for 20 minutes... cant even understand her... and all she had to do is change my damn monitor... then she gives me my total and its WAY different than the one I got when I did the same thing on the internet... so I just say ok because I am tired of talking to her... call back to change the order again... and hope I get a guy I can understand... umm nope! So I am just going to have them cancel my order and I will redo it on the internet... I am on hold right now... imagine that...

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Well finally got the order canceled and finished placing my other order online... all that for a damn LCD screen... hope it was worth it lol
