Well just bought a new laptop and something just started happening. Not a big problem but an annoying one.

The beep that I guess just warns you, lets say if you press CTRL +ALT +Del, then go to end one of the processes... it will beep REALLY loud, louder than normal. I can't even remember if it did it before, but it does it for other things now to and its really annoying. I turned all the sounds for my laptop off to in the settings.

Anyone know how to quiet this down or shut if off, and why it happened?

How is that done? I did a search and it seems that is more for Vista. Maybe not though?
