found some weird lights, help?

found some weird lights, help?

found these goin through my comp stuff today. they look like keyboard/desk lights, but they have an audio jack output on them... LOL... i cant get em to work. anyone here ever seen em b4? heres a pic.

dude i do alot of computer mods and stuff but ya i have nvr seen anything like that before in my life... those are so weird and the fact that they have the jack makes no sense wat so ever.

thats what im thinkin they do..... but i tried last night through my speaker port and played music... nothing.

They are for a TIVO, it's the rf things that go on the cable or sat box to change the channel

I have something similar for my TV tuner cards in both of my PCs.
The plug goes into the RF port on the card, and you put the other end on the wall to aim your remote at.
You can see two of them on the wall here above the speakers control module.
