Garmin 60cx Topo Maps?
I just purchased a Garmin Gpsmap 60cx and was wonder what my options are for topo maps. After reading reviews on Garmin's MapSource Topo U.S. 2008 software, the conscious seems to be it lacks detail and inaccurate. Are there other, better options out there? What's your opinion on Garmin's software?
I found the reviews on Amazon's website:

I have the older rev of the topo maps, same 100K scale. It is OK, better than nothing. Not sure if the newer version has roads identified and routing capability, if so that would be better than what I have. The National Parks topos are awesome, they are 24K:1 scale and have wonderful detail, even backcountry roads are identified as roads and you can route over them. Might check those out and see if they cover the areas you go to. Other option is the CityNav maps, they have a lot of backcountry roads (no topo data though) and the other option is the Roads&Rec maps. Thy have a lot of backcountry/forest service type roads. I have all the above and sort of pick and choose what is the best for any given area.

Is it possible to use non Gramin software with a Garmin GPS, like Delorme? I've heard that topo software was better. Does anyone one know of a good GPS forum?
