Picked up a set of FRS/GMRS radios over the weekend from amazon.com. The thing is it was super ealry in the morning since I had to be up for some network changes at work, on-call blows...

I ordered http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...=UTF8&v=glance and noticed today that it only mentions FRS in passing. I don't know if I made a mistake or not due to lack of sleep.

It does mention FRS channels but the description says nothing about FRS just GMRS. I'm guessing this is why they caused me $99! Man I feel dumb!

Anyway anyone have these radios or something like them? I think they do FRS as well as GMRS but just wanted to make sure. Who here really pays the license to use GMRS like 3 or 4 times a year?

 

Got the radios today. On the box it says it's a FRS/GMRS radio.
